After Your Flight

We run coaching sessions, tunnel camps and regular events at all iFLY facilities aimed at returning flyers, Pro-Flyers and Skydivers alike.

If you've flown with us before and purchased memorable photos and videos, you can login to your personal account to view orders and access purchased downloads. 

Booking Online

To make a booking at iFLY we do ask for full, cleared payment at the point you make the reservation. Sorry, but we don’t accept deposits, part payment or pay on arrival.
  • You may reschedule your flight free of charge with a minimum of 48 hours notice by emailing info@ifly.com.au or calling 1300 435 966.
  • Rescheduling within 48 hours will incur a fee of $30 per person up to a maximum of $150 for every 30 minutes booked.
  • There is no charge to transfer the flight to a friend - this can be done on arrival.
  • iFLY reserves the right to cancel flights at short notice due to mechanical failure, unscheduled repairs, maintenance or anything outside of our control.
  • In the event that iFLY does cancel your booking, it will be rescheduled at the next available timeslot. No refund will be available.
  • There will be no refund for cancellations made by the customer.
  • If you fail to arrive for your flights, your booking will be void and no refunds will be issued.
  • iFLY does not offer refunds, wholly or partially. Please make sure you agree to the Terms & Conditions before purchasing your flight.
  • Cancellations require 48 hours’ notice. Such reservations may only be rescheduled under the same terms as the original reservation’s pricing and applicable restrictions. As a courtesy, iFLY may elect to reschedule such cancellations, but shall do so at its sole discretion and may require the payment of an administrative fee.
  • Customers with repeated cancellations or no-shows may lose flight privileges.
  • iFLY cannot be held responsible for missed reservations as a result of extenuating circumstances such as transportation, weather, nor any other reason outside of the control of iFLY, nor for expenses related to scheduled reservations.
  • If you have been affected by COVID19, please contact us to reschedule your booking online with the our standard Rescheduling & Cancellation terms above, or to discuss an extention of your gift voucher. 


If you fail to arrive for your flights, are late for your flights or fail to reschedule your flights within the times above, your booking will no longer be valid and you will not be entitled to a refund.

We have a number of different flight packages available and the price will be different based on the package you choose. Please take a look at our different packages we have available online to see which best suits you.
Yes, all of our first-time flyer experiences include instruction from highly qualified IBA (International Bodyflight Association) instructors who will be present throughout your flight experience.
This is the ultimate experience for the whole family, spanning all generations. Up to 5 friends or family can enjoy a sensational flight experience all on one single, fun filled visit.

You will attend the class and share 10 flights between you. It’s up to you how you divide the flights. This experience can also be booked by one person for a really intensive indoor skydiving experience.

Planning

Strangely, we never ask how long a skydive lasts but this is the opposite at a wind tunnel.

We replicate the skydiving experience and offer flights which are about 1½ times longer than a tandem jump. So each flight is about a minute, often a bit longer but never shorter than 50 seconds.

A double flight is about 100 seconds long. Please remember we are selling the exhilarating indoor skydiving experience which should never be measured in terms of time!

It may not sound long but as a first time flyer it will seem much longer during the experience itself.
Flyers under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian (over 18 yrs of age) on the day of flight. The parent / guardian will be required to provide a signature for their waiver as well as attend the classroom briefing. If you are bringing a group / party, the organiser can sign on behalf of multiple participants as a guardian.

To save time, please complete your waiver prior to arrival. It is particularly important that you take note of the information regarding previously dislocated shoulders.

Anyone in a state of reasonable health & fitness from 3 to 103 can fly.

We do ask that you check the list of criteria below before booking. If you are concerned about any of the criteria, just contact us for a chat, we'll do everything we can to help you fly.

You can fly at iFLY as long as you:

Weigh less than 105kg if under 180cm in height, or under 115kg if over 180cm in height.  If you weigh between 105kg-136kg, please notify us as fees may apply and the iFLY High package or add-on is not available to those over our weight limit. We cannot fly people over 136kg.
All Locations:
  • Are 3 years old or above (you must be able to comfortably wear one of our helmets).
  • Are NOT pregnant.
  • Have NOT previously dislocated your shoulder.
  • People with previous neck, back or shoulder problems should consult their doctor prior to flying.
  • Are NOT under the influence of alcohol or non-prescribed drugs.
  • Are NOT wearing a hard cast.
  • Have signed permission from a parent or guardian if under 18 years of age* (flyers under 18 years old require adult supervision when visiting)
  • Have signed our Declaration of Risk

Yes, anyone with reasonable health & fitness can fly but our upper weight limit is 136kg. 

Our weight restrictions are listed below.

iFLY Sydney (Penrith):
Weigh less than 136kg. Flyers between 118kg and 136kg will require 2 instructors and a special request fee of $30 applies. The High Fly add-on is not available to those over our standard weight limits.

iFLY Gold Coast:
Height under 180cm and weigh between 105kg to 136kg will require 2 instructors and a special request fee of $30 applies. Height over 180cm and weigh between 115kg to 136kg will require 2 instructors and a special request fee of $30 applies. The High Fly add-on is not available to those over our standard weight limits.
We ask that all flyers complete a waiver before they arrive on the day, paying particular attention to the information regarding previously dislocated shoulders.Waivers can filled out here

The customer service desk at all of our facilities is open an hour before the first flight of the day (usually by 9am, though sometimes earlier or later according to the flight schedule) until one hour after the last flight time of the day.
If you're able to fly during our quieter times, you can save money on almost all our flight experiences.

All other times will be classed as off-peak time.
We have free and accessible parking available on site at iFLY Sydney (Penrith).

iFLY Gold Coast has all day parking available at the Bruce Bishop Carpark.

Your report time at iFLY will be confirmed to you via email once you have successfully completed a booking with us.

If you haven’t yet made your booking, you should be aware that just like catching a plane you must arrive and 'check-in' before your actual flight time.

You should report to the front desk of your chosen venue at least 60 minutes prior to your flight time.
So, if you choose to fly at 4pm you must arrive by 3:00pm.  


Please do not be late as we hate to see people miss their flights and we are unable to offer refunds.

If you have already made a booking and are still unsure of when or where to arrive, please take a look at the confirmation email you’ll have received when you made your booking.
iFLY Gold Coast and iFLY Downunder (Sydney West) classifies ‘groups’ as 5 or more flyers. Groups of this size are rewarded with discounts.

Our private group package can fly up to 16 people in the one session which offers an even greater discount.
 
You can book multiple private group packages back-to-back, with a maximum of 200 people allowed in our building at one time.

That's easy.
  • Dress in comfy clothes (shirts without collars are best)
  • Wear lace-up trainers
  • Bring a hair tie if you have long hair
If you wear glasses, we can provide extra large goggles that fit neatly over your glasses, meaning your sight is not obstructed during your flights. Contact lenses can also be worn under standard goggles but please note, there's always a small risk they may come out.
Firstly, we ask that every flyer completes a waiver before arrival which can be done online here. It is particularly important that you take note of the information regarding previously dislocated shoulders.

Please arrive at iFLY comfortably dressed (avoid collars and hoods) and bring a pair of well fitting lace-up trainers. We find that jeans, t-shirt and a pair of skate/running shoes are ideal. If you don't have a pair of lace-up trainers, don't worry, we do have appropriate footwear for hire

If you have long hair we recommend bringing something to tie it up and maybe a brush.

You should be prepared to remove all loose items and all items of jewellery before flying. Whilst we do have basic lockers on site, we suggest leaving valuable items at home for real peace of mind. 
All you need is your confirmation email (either printed, or on your phone is fine). 

You should complete your waiver online here before you arrive if possible, as this will save time on the day.

No, once you have made your reservation, you have paid for your flight experience.

We do have a number of optional Extras that can be purchased on the day of your flight including photos and videos, a High Fly, extra flights, merchandise and coaching (all subject to availability). We don’t automatically include Extras in our flight packages as that would add an additional cost for everyone coming to fly and we don’t think that’s fair.

Some Extra's can be pre-purchased online and others available in store. If you'd like to know more about our Extras please get in touch with us at 1300 435 966.
Flight sessions involve occasional flash photography (the driver of our wind tunnel will be taking snaps of flyers mid-flight) and occasional strobe lighting.

This should not affect your ability to fly or spectate, but please contact us before arrival if you think we should know about any conditions such as epilepsy or seizures. We may be able to adjust our systems to accomodate.
No, it’s just like breathing normally! There is no specialist breathing equipment required. Just relax and breathing will come naturally.

If you do suffer from any breathing difficulties such as Asthma, don’t worry, in most cases you’ll still find flying a comfortable experience and be able to breathe normally. However, we do recommend you contact us with any queries so we can offer further advice.
The High Fly is the equivalent of a hot-lap on track day where instructors give you a taste of what it's like to fly like a pro! 

For the High Fly, the instructor takes hold of you and whizzes you towards the top of the tunnel and back down, twice!

Remembering that indoor skydiving is a skill based pursuit, we encourage flyers to be in control of their own experience and to fly independently of their instructor. The High Fly for that reason is an Extra and not a standard feature of any iFLY experience.

iFLY endeavours to offer the High Fly in as many sessions as possible but owing to the specialist training and experience level required, we are unable to guarantee it in all sessions, even if pre-booked. Additionally, it can't be guarenteed due to safety reasons for both the customer and the instructor, which is dependent on the stability of the person flying, as well as their ability to respond well to instructions; this assessment can only be made once the flyer is in the wind. Having previously done a High Fly does not guarentee that it can happen on a return visit.

Instructors that are able to offer the High Fly are among the most experienced in the world, undergoing hours of rigorous training before they are licensed* to fly with others. If an instructor with the appropriate license deems he can fly safely with an iFLY customer, and enhance their experience at the same time, then the High Fly will be offered.

Due to safety, High Fly's are unavailable for those that weigh 118kg+

During your flight session the driver of our wind tunnel will be taking snaps of you mid-flight. Don't forget to smile! All photos can be viewed immediately after your flights and they’re available to purchase as digital downloads.

You can also access your photos and videos online for up to 30 days following your flights. Please note, due to flyer's movements we cannot guarantee the perfect photo but we'll try our very best.

Redeeming Gift Vouchers

Firstly all vouchers purchased directly with iFLY come with 3 years validity as standard and they’re nice and simple to redeem. Simply visit Redeem a Voucher to get your flights booked. Pre-booking is essential and flights are subject to availability - please ensure you book well in advance to guarantee your preferred flying time.

It’s important to know that once a voucher has expired, it can no longer be redeemed at iFLY – so we strongly recommend booking early.

However if your voucher has passed its expiry date, don’t panic, our team are on hand to help. We may be able to offer the same experience to you with either 3 or 6 months validity at a significantly discounted price. Sports Flyers

No. Your benefits are not transferable to another party, cannot be assigned, sold or redeemed for cash.

As you fly through the Flight Club status levels, your rate per minute gets cheaper! Flight club status checkpoints are reached after 1 hours, 5 hours and 10 hours of flight time.

Memberships are linked to your unique online login, where you can check your current tier, top-up your account and make bookings.

We don’t do pro-rata memberships because you immediately get your money’s worth on sign up. Normally, a 10-minute block of tunnel time will cost the same as a membership, but the membership includes this block time, plus birthday time, special offers, and exclusive events (just to name a few).
Are you kidding us - kids love it here! Seriously, we can fly anyone aged 3 to 103 providing you are in a state of reasonable health and fitness, and can fit into one of our flight suits and helmets.
