iFLY Global Kids Challenge

Whether this is your first competition or your next step towards becoming an international competitor, the Global Kids’ Challenge is a great opportunity to develop your flying, represent iFLY Downunder or iFLY Gold Coast, and become part of a worldwide indoor skydiving event!!

Compete in 2-way Formation Skydiving or Freestyle. Entry is FREE for Flight Club members at iFLY Gold Coast. The competition is judged via video with the winners receiving tunnel time prizes at the tunnel they compete in.
GOLD COAST TRAINING EVENT
Join us on Sunday 23rd August for our first 2-way FS training event. You'll learn the dive pool, the competition rules and practise with some other flyers. Anyone can join the theory session for free, just turn up at 3pm or add flight time to your booking for just $20, click the Gold Coast button below.
What is Freestyle? What is 2-Way Formation Skydiving?
2-Way Formation Skydiving, or 2-Way FS, is a team event where two flyers perform a sequence of belly-flying formations inside the tunnel. Competitors create each formation by taking clearly controlled grips on one another, then separate and transition into the next required position. Teams aim to complete as many correct formations as possible within the working time, with points awarded for accuracy, control, teamwork and clearly presented grips.

Picking Your Category
Freestyle and 2-Way Formation Skydiving categories are available for different skill levels, from Beginner through to Advanced. Each category includes movements, routines and formations suited to the flyer’s current experience, with more technical skills introduced as they progress.
Not sure which category is right for you? Our coaches will help ensure you choose the best level for your current ability. Don’t have a teammate? No worries—we can match you with another junior flyer and help get you competition-ready!
Competition Preparation
Freestyle flyers can polish their routine, while 2-way teams can use practice draws to improve formations, transitions, timing and teamwork.
Flight Club members receive free competition entry at iFLY Gold Coast.
